**JOB DESCRIPTION**

I am an elderly gentleman who has dementia and I live in Denholm with my wife. I

would like support with my personal care throughout the day as a recent stroke has

affected my ability to do this. I am looking for a small team of people to help me to

return home, and ensure I am safe and well cared for. Additional time for travel has

been approved for each visit.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Carer to help me with my personal care including washing, dressing and catheter

care;
- Carer to use assistive equipment when transferring me i.e arjo steady, wheeled

commodes, in line with safety guidelines;

- Carer to ensure I am comfortable, either in my bed or in an armchair;***
- Carer to ensure my safety sensors and alarms are activated and in place

before they leave.

**Hours of Work**

Each day I am looking for a carer at the following times:
0800hrs - 45 minutes;
1300hrs - 30 minutes;
1700hrs - 30 minutes;
2000hrs - 45 minutes.

**Additional time towards travel has been approved for each visit**.

**The Terms**
- £11.00 per hour;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
