**The role**:
The Faculty International Officer will assist in the development as well as be responsible for implementing Life Sciences’ international strategy and activity across a wide range of activities. This includes recruitment, partnership activity and global opportunities. The role will be based both in the central International Office and Life Sciences.

**What will you be doing?**:
The post holder will be coordinating a range of activities as well updating key staff within the faculty regarding outcomes and progress of the action plan developed jointly between the International Office and Life Sciences.

The post holder is also responsible for identifying and coordinating activity for specific recruitment and/or international purposes such as partner visits, offer holder events and school visits. All aspects of this will be the responsibility of the post holder, identifying the most appropriate staff, managing the budget, analysing data, and making recommendations for future activity.

The post holder is the main liaison point between the central International Office and Life Sciences, ensuring that each team is updated appropriately.

The post holder will be part of a faculty-based professional services team including marketing and alumni, contributing to the successful promotion of the faculty, recruitment of students, and support the identity of the Life Sciences internationally.

- You are interested in working as part of two teams with a diverse range of colleagues
- You are confident in delivering both standardised and free-form/unscripted presentations to differing groups of individuals
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where change can be frequent.
- Are able to spend time overseas promoting the school and University.
