**The role**:
This is an exciting time to join the University of Bristol Careers Service as we implement our five-year careers service plan.

This Faculty Employability Adviser role coordinates professional employability support to the School of Economics. The post holder will interpret and analyse available data, working closely with the named academic contacts to create Employability Partnership Agreements that reflect agreed priorities. They will design and deliver appropriate interventions for students and work with academic colleagues to develop employability skills of students.

**What will you be doing?**:
This role involves:

- Analysing management information (e.g. student engagement and Graduate Outcomes data) to inform provision of relevant and effective curricular or co-curricular activities within the School of Economics
- Using current labour market information, to inform planning, delivery and conversations with students and academics
- Designing and delivering appropriate interventions which enable students to identify and articulate the employability skills they are developing within their programme of learning
- Providing consultancy to the School of Economics, advising academics on the best ways to support and develop their students’ employability
- Leading on the development of employability partnership agreements (EPAs) to develop priorities and actions for the School of Economics
- Supporting the FET Manager to ensure that the objectives of this team are achieved to a high standard and working closely with other Careers Service teams and colleagues where appropriate

The role requires ability to work credibly with academics to embed employability in a curricular or co-curricular context. You will need to be:

- Strong at analysing data to inform planning and service delivery
- Adept at designing and delivering group-based learning and comfortable using technology to deliver in various online and in-person formats
- Exceptionally organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great with delivering engaging presentations and workshops using active learning approaches to a variety of student and staff audiences
- Able to engage confidently with students to deliver short 1-2-1 information and advice appointments and/or drop ins
- Qualified with a relevant professional qualification or have relevant experience in a careers and employability related setting
