The purpose of this document is to describe the role of the organisation’s Registry support officer as the organisation prepares to move to the next stage of its strategic development.

**About Elizabeth School of London**

Elizabeth School of London (ESL) is a higher education provider offering a range of sector-relevant courses across five campuses located in major cities including London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Northampton**.**

ESL currently has three UK University collaborative partnerships. The first with Canterbury Christ Church University based initially at our London campus. The second is with Bath Spa University for 4 years degree course in Business Management. Recently we have developed new partnership with St Marys University, Twickenham to deliver their courses.

**Overview of Role of Registry support officer**

The post holder will undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties to support the work of Registry Services. The duties of this post could vary from time to time because of new provider, company expansion, changes in policies and workload. In this case, appropriate training may be given to enable the post holder to undertake new/varied work. Responsibility should include:

- Campus registry support officer will report to Campus manager, however, will report to central registry for daily activities related to registry services.
- Regular campus attendance monitoring, data entry to in-house database and produce report.
- The student contract with ESL.
- The processes underpinning the student journey & the organisation’s academic offer.
- Send absence notification, warning letter, withdrawal notification.
- Liaise effectively with student support team and other member of staff regarding SEM/ other concern.
- Ensuring that the student assessment process is well-managed, that all aspects of the same are fair and secure and that the results are correctly recorded and that assessment boards/panels are properly organised and supported.
- Ensuring the registration and enrolment process are conducted as per ESL policy.
- Should undertake any other tasks as required from time to time by the Campus manager and central Registry support/ Academic registrar.
- Participating in all necessary preparation and work in relation to regulatory body and collaborative partner University visits/meetings
- Assistance with the annual graduation ceremonies and quality assurance processes.
- To ensure compliance with Data Protection.
- Keep record of all submission, withdrawal and progression and report it to their line manager.
- Data on all students and courses which contribute to the organisation’s ability and capacity to effectively manage and deliver on its activities.

**Reporting Line**

Campus registry support officer will report to Campus manager, however, will report to central registry for daily activities related to registry services.

**Additional Responsibilities**

The additional responsibilities of the Registry Support officer include:
- Ensuring that the organisation’s contract with students in relation to academic matters is clear, fair and meets all necessary external requirements.
- Attending all necessary and relevant meetings as required; &
- Such other reasonable and relevant duties and responsibilities as the Register/Campus Manager may require from time to time.

**Educational Qualification required**:
**Essential**: Bachelor from any UK university

**Desirable**: Masters from any UK university

**Skills and Abilities**:

- The ability to listen, provide empathy and act with discretion as required.
- The ability to effectively lead and manage team across multiple campuses.
- Proven IT skills (Microsoft programs and online resources).
- Outstanding organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with people at all levels.
- The ability to create innovative ways to communicate and support students.
- Project planning and management skills with the ability to see tasks through to completion, to work at pace / under pressure and to meet deadlines.
