Our Department provides an excellent range of services delivered by our dedicated multidisciplinary team to the population. Our team works with a wide spectrum of patients including those who have complex liver issues, IBD (Crohn’s Disease, Colitis), nutrition concerns and substance misuse. As a referral centre for nutritional patients the team often deal with unusual and complex cases. We work close with specialist nurses including nutrition nurses, IBD nurses, liver nurses and substance misuse nurses. We will support new staff to attend the trainings relevant to the job, linking theory and practice. We strongly believe in role modelling the Trust values and our culture on the unit is based on a team approach. Housekeeper helps to make sure that our wards is clean, safe and attractive places for patients and staff.
As a housekeeper, you will lead ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies. The work can include:
talking to and reassuring patients
ordering non-clinical supplies
keeping the ward clean and tidy
serving and clearing away meals
preparing snacks and drinks
reporting faults
receiving visitors
