**The Role**

We are currently looking for support workers in the Wallingtonarea, someone who is passionate about support and believes in supporting people as they would want for their closest loved ones.

The role will involve supporting a 2 young persons females in their own home and assisting her to fulfil her desired activities in the community.

We provide full face-to-face training for all new members of the team. Including in house by our experienced team in the provided support setting and specialist training opportunities.

**Location**

You will be supporting the person in their own home in Wallington and assisting throughout the community between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00.

**Job Purpose**

The purpose of our team of support workers is to assist the young persons you will be supporting to live to their full potential, offering opportunities for them to explore and encouraging their independence.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Building the trust of the those we support and their families
- Spending time and going above and beyond caring for them
- Engage in activities that enhance the lives of those we care for
- Prepare and assisting with meals
- Prompting with medication and administering when necessary
- Assisting with all elements of personal care
- Support the people we care for to engage in activities of their own interest; Including: community walks, going to arranged activities, going for long drives, school attendance travel
- Pursue greater professional competence through training and qualifications
- Share ideas that will enhance the service level
- Maintain excellent levels of house hygiene
- Supporting the young persons for independance
- Assisting those we care for to their appointments
- Protect the people we care for by sharing concerns and following safeguarding protocols, policies and procedures

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and ambitious support worker who will engage in all day-to-day activities and encourage a better quality of life. Someone who cares in a person-centred way and who will take to any situation with an open-minded approach and assess to ensure that we always provide outstanding support.
