Our client is a well-established and reputable financial services organisation based in Beverley town centre. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their small, friendly and welcoming team. The Beverley BuildingSociety has been established for over 150 years, with an excellent reputation, yet is dynamic and forward-thinking, focussing on both its members and its staff.

Working with the finance team, you would be checking the daily cashbook, looking at purchase and sales ledgers, checking invoices, checking for any anomalies and looking to resolve these. As well as collating information for internal and external financialand regulatory reporting.

You could be working with the senior management team on the pricing of its mortgage and investment accounts, benchmarking products with peers and looking at the current financial market.

You would be proactively looking at the current systems, looking for improvements or automation which could be implemented to improve processes making them more effective and efficient.

That’s why we are looking for someone who can work as part of a team with a strong eye for detail along with managing their own workload independently. An accounts person who is fully computer literate, specifically Excel, with the ability to pick up newsystems with ease and the accuracy to match, with the communication skills and problem-solving to match.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with on-site car parking available. Offering 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, with a 5% pension contribution.
