**Job Title**: Finance Assistant

**Location**: Beverley, FE College

**Job Purpose**: To provide administrative and financial support to the finance department in order to ensure effective and efficient financial management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable**:

- Manage and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Follow up on outstanding debts and maintain accurate records.

**Accounts Payable**:

- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

**Budgeting and Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
- Monitor expenses and reconcile accounts as necessary.

**Financial Administration**:

- Maintain accurate financial records and files
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a finance assistant role is desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software
