A rare opportunity has arisen at our Scarborough branch for a **Sales Counter Advisor**. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fantastic team within an expanding company, with a proven track record of promoting staff throughout its business.

As a Counter Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative but also willing to work as part of a wider team.
- A good communicator who is presentable, approachable, positive and polite
- Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
- Knowledge of the building industry and building supplies would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills

**Duties to include**
- Exceeding our customers’ expectations by dealing with them professionally and courteously, either by telephone or face to face on the sales counter.
- Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice.
- Maintaining and developing sales leads
- Taking a proactive approach to sales using all opportunities to maximise sales and margins
- Following up on sales enquiries and quotations.
- Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Completing all necessary paperwork in line with company procedures
