The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri and is hybrid working.

**Clinical Effectiveness Facilitator**

This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a contribution to improving the quality of care in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as part of the Quality Improvement Team within the Clinical Governance Support Unit (CGSU) and offers opportunities for knowledge, skill and role development.

Supporting the Board’s Quality Improvement Programmes and the delivery of the NHSGGC QI Capability Plan, you will be part of a team that holds a fundamental role in supporting services to identify, plan, test and implement changes in their daily practice. A rewarding aspect of this role is supporting the spread of improvement across the organisation, through the delivery of key QI training programmes and development of structures for sharing learning, networking, evaluation and communication of effective quality practices.

You will play a key part by managing a portfolio of clinical effectiveness/quality improvement projects that reflect local, organisational and national priorities and by providing support to services in using improvement methodology to improve patient care and outcomes.

To excel as a team member, you should bring the following to this role:

- A degree or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
- ECDL in Microsoft Office or able to demonstrate equivalent competence
- Sound awareness/knowledge of the principles of clinical effectiveness/ quality improvement
- Skilled in problem solving
- Numeracy and analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Able to negotiate with others to achieve outcomes and activities, using diplomacy and tact as required
- Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team
