About the Role

The School of Health and Life Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland is seeking a Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our team. As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will play a key role in introducing innovative techniques into areas of academic delivery, with a focus on development and delivery of clinical skills, simulated activities, and interprofessional simulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of immersive learning and simulation facilities within the School of HLS.
  • Organize and deliver innovative approaches to simulated learning and clinical skills within pre-registration nurse education.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of simulated learning in our wider healthcare teaching portfolio.
  • Work with academic colleagues to explain technical details in a non-technical manner.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based clinical skills facilitation and practical supervision.
  • Work with specialized processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
