Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Technician to join our team at the NHS Scotland Paisley Campus. As a Simulation Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Simulation Technician to deliver high-quality simulation and clinical skills training to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Nursing and Health-related programmes, ensuring seamless delivery of simulation-based training.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of simulation equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement simulation-based curricula, aligning with NHS Scotland's training objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new simulation scenarios, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in preparing students for real-world clinical scenarios.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, evaluating the effectiveness of simulation-based training and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a simulation or clinical training environment, with a strong understanding of simulation-based training methodologies.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex simulation equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty members, students, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
