**Competency & Compliance Manager**

**Salary: £30k - £35k + company benefit package**

**Location: Hove**

**Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm**

You will already have a proven background at a senior level within compliance and administrative management and thrive in an evolving business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct internal and external audits and report on any improvement measures.
- Ensure complaints are handled to a high standard.
- Design and deliver competency and compliance training to all new and existing staff.
- Produce reports and analysis for key stakeholders.
- Manage complaint relationships with insurers and TPA’s.
- Monitor staff training hours and requirements in line with regulatory guidance.
- Assess and investigate, implement fixes and improvements for process failures across all new business.
- Analyse and maintain and improve logs for QA, breaches, complaints, and claims reporting.
- Maintain and improve version control of all documents, scripts, advertising held within the organisation.
- Keep up to date with compliance and regulatory changes.
- Proven background at a senior level within insurance or financial services.
- Background in compliance and administrative management.
- Experience in coaching, supervising, and managing teams or individuals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- An excellent level of understanding the regulatory requirements of the FCA and financial services industry.
- Operating in a highly monitored and high volume ever changing regulatory business.
