**Pharmacy Assistant**

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary : From £11.50 per hour, depending on experience

We have a vacancy for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are an established and busy independent pharmacy that focuses on customer care and satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has initiative, is a quick learner and is good with people and wants to contribute to a growing business. You will understand the importance of accuracy within our environment, and be able to demonstrate your ability to work well within a team.

**Your main duties will include**:

- Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional counter experience for all our customers.
- Administration support in the vaccination centre
- Advising customers on health products
- Replenishment and cleaning
- Support the onsite pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.

**Essential skills and requirements**
- An excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience.
- Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills
- Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)
- Experience in ordering and merchandising and replenishment
- A high standard of English and communication skills.
- A good level of math.
- Minimum five GCSE passes
- Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.
- Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask.

The employer will also provide a full induction programme and ongoing training and support from our skilled and experienced staff.

**Desirable skills and requirements**
- Pharmacy experience preferred but not essential.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of maximising retail opportunities via excellent service.
