.This is a role within Ciena’s Supply Chain Inventory Management & Risk Mitigation team with responsibility to provide analysis of business data, identify trends, create financial models, and provide support to the supply chain organization.

**SPECIFIC **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the Inventory team in the development and deployment of workflows, business reports and dashboards using state of the art reporting tools
- Work on the creation of Dashboards to support on-going business needs.
- Investigate, identify, and document data sources.
- Assist in the analysis and improvement of Inventory
- Identify and track product & component life cycle, proactively work with extended team on the phase in/out of product and minimize inventory impact.
- Complete analysis of finished goods and component inventory & present findings to extended team

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:

- Role is for 10-12 months
- Flexible work schedule
- Currently enrolled in graduate program in Computer Information Systems / Business & IT.
- Exceptional oral and written capabilities.
- Skilled in creating relationships with others within a multi-national company.
- Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams in a global company.
- Self-starter, proven ability to work unsupervised to meet project deliverables. Inquisitive and prepared to research through data & documentation.
- Attention to detail essential.
