**Support Worker - Allerton Care & Support**

We’re looking for Support Workers / Care assistants to join our team

Support Worker Salary: £10 per hour.

We offer our Support workers £10 per hour with a sleep-in rate of £80 per night, increasing your earning potential (For sleeping) As a Support Worker, you could earn your salary plus 1 sleep per week and earn £23,660 & for 2 sleep-ins per week plus salary you could earn £27820.

**About the Support Worker role**:

Support Worker / Care Assistant to deliver person
- centred support to people with Mental Health or learning disabilities promoting their independence and helping to achieve goals and aspirations so that our people live the life they choose.

We need Support workers / Care assistants who are reliable, trustworthy respectful and understand the importance of a support worker / Care Assistant role.

**A typical day as a Support worker involves**:

- Support with shopping, correspondence, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Prompting daily personal care, whilst maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Support with planning and attending leisure or educational activities. This can range from day centres, College, gardening clubs, bingo, discos, meals out, bowling, holidays, and day trips such as zoos or sporting events.
- Administering medication and arranging medical appointments as required.
- Encouraging and supporting individuals to maintain friendships and family links.
- Using our note-taking system to provide handover to staff with important information.
