The Governing Board of the Isle of Wight Education Federation is seeking to appoint an Assistant to the Heads of Year, to provide support to the Heads of Year in their professional leadership and management of the tutor teams and student cohort, to support the implementation of systems and procedures and to secure improvements in standards of learning and achievement for all students in the cohort.

The Isle of Wight Education Federation has been established to harness the very best education practice within two secondary schools and a large A Level sixth-form centre of almost 500 students. The aim is to create a culture of continual improvement with increasingly successful outcomes for young people across the Island.

The original five-year partnership arrangement under direction of the Secretary of State finished in 2018 but has been extended voluntarily by both local authorities for a further five years._
- The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children’s Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children’s services._
