**About the role**

Booker Group the UK's leading wholesaler is recruiting for a Supply Planner within our Operations team.The role will be based out of our head office in Wellingborough.

Within this role you will be a pivotal part of the Supply Chain team by improving cash profit and customer satisfaction.This will be delivered through the efficient end to end planning and flow of stock for promotional activity into the Distribution network, storesand ultimately our customers..

Our Supply Chain teams are driven to succeed and process orientated, tasked with ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time.Whilst this can be a challenging role, the sense of accomplishment you will feel after finding resolutions or solvingproblems is second to none.

**Role Responsibility**
- Ensuring maximum availability for the start and during all Promotional event activity, adhering to critical timescales.
- Monitoring and ensuring that Promotional products are received into our network to meet promotional timelines
- Efficiently managing the flow of Volume from our Distribution centres to our Branches for Promotional activity
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships internally and externally
- Analysing data to produce reports, providing recommendations on your findings
- Reviewing and responding to queries and requests
- Resolving issues in a timely manner
- Learning and managing various systems
- Taking ownership of your role whilst supporting the wider team
- Root causing out of late availability of stock and ensure key issues are clearly communicated
- Ensuring that smooth inbound and outbound planning is achieved by adhering to correct processes.
- Implementing and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Escalating any issues that arise to the relevant person/persons.

**You will need**

- Exceptional communication & stakeholder management
- Be able to work independently, to problem solve
- Attention to detail, writing of reports, interpreting data and keeping of accurate records.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant marketsand market developments
- Ability to flex work approach
- Experience in working in FMG
- Have a proven record of working autonomously as well as part of a Team.
