**Job summary**:
Within the Regions Division there are nine UKHSA Regional Teams led by Regional Deputy Directors of Health Protection working to the UKHSA Director of Regions,.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the regional Health Protection team at the start of a new phase of engagement activity.

The role will support the Head of Regional Engagement across a wide range of responsibilities which will underpin the new National Engagement Strategy, including but not limited to: management of a stakeholder mapping database, relationship management with multiple contacts, the production of high quality materials including presentations and briefing documents, coordination of the Engagement Plan and associated range of events across the year along with a diverse range of operational tasks. The post holder will work closely with the national network of Engagement teams along with the national team attending meetings and network events as necessary.

**Job description**:
Support the delivery and implementation of the regional engagement strategy.

Support the directorate to coordinate interaction, negotiation and co-production with a wide variety of people/groups in the delivery of an overarching engagement strategy for the key agency priorities which enable delivery of all health hazards approach.

**Person specification**:
Experience of delivering engagement in a large complex organisation

Experience of working with stakeholders and large-scale engagement

Experience of building relationships and working in networks and organising and facilitating engagement events with a wide range

of stakeholders

Experience of successful project management including event planning, and evaluation

Experience of designing and delivering innovative engagement initiatives and in partnership with others.
