Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Regional Director: Work closely with the Regional Director to ensure the successful delivery of regional objectives, understanding and aligning with the organisation's broader strategic goals and helping to implement them within the regional context.
  • Deputising for the Regional Director: You may be required to represent the Regional Director in meetings and events when required.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Development: Building strong relationships within departments and across various teams within the organisation to ensure that the services provided to local members are effective, complementary, and aligned with organisational standards.
  • Local Active Members: Collaborate with local active members in promoting and achieving the organisation's strategic aims at both local and regional levels.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Contribute to the cultivation of strong relationships with key members and stakeholders across the region. This includes networking and collaborating with business leaders, professionals, policymakers, and other influential figures in the region to enhance ICAEW's reputation and influence.
  • Strategic Activity & Event Delivery: Support in planning and delivering high-value strategic activities & events. Such activities may involve engaging with key policymakers, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to address relevant issues and opportunities. Activities must cater to the different subsets of the membership and contribute to the achievement of the organisation's goals.
  • Support the Regional Director and regional team ensuring consistent messaging, engagement, and performance and ensure accurate & timely reporting,


The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Regional Engagement Manager' should have:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong strategic planning and execution abilities
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
