Colposcopy has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our friendly, supportive team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator.

You will work within the Woman's clinic at Southend Hospital, facilitating the smooth running of the Colposcopy and Screening service

Your role will be to manage the patient journey by ensuring that coordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.

Your role is to provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area including: Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Consultants ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. this may include cancellation and reinstating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave. Being first point of Patient contact when booking appointments etc.

You will support the clinical team, working closely with the Nurse Colposcopist, Service Manager, and other staff, in that they are able to deliver safe and effective services whilst also ensuring compliance with contractual access targets e.g. in line with the current NNU KPIS

You will be expected to provide cross-cover for other patient Pathway Coordinators to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times. Which could involve travelling to other sites across MSE. You will complete and distribute the weekly Failsafe report, type up GP and Patient letters, book appointments, put referrals onto the system, filing and all other administration duties that is required of the service.
