The Tenancy Sustainment Team sit within the Neighbourhoods Team working alongside the Neighbourhood Officers. Their role is to assist Torus tenants who are at risk of failing their tenancy. The Tenancy Sustainment Team can offer support to tenants who may be experiencing difficulty to maintain their tenancy. They offer one to one support to help them manage their tenancy successfully, improve health and wellbeing and ensure the correct support is in place to meet their needs.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Undertake an assessment of need for tenants who may be at risk of tenancy failure
- Identify triggers to non-payment of rent and agree interventions to minimise risk of tenancy failure
- Manage a caseload to promote independent living and sustainment of tenancies
- Make referrals to specialist partners to meet the customers needs
- Build a rapport with clients whilst maintaining professional boundaries

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Be flexible, adaptable and innovative in your approach to service delivery
- Have evidence of working in the housing and or social care sector
- Have experience of working and engaging with people and families with multiple and complex needs
- Have a track record of completing assessments, support plans and managing a caseload
- Experience of multi-agency working
- Experience of crisis management
