Warehouse Executive

**Overview of the Main Function of the Post**:
To maintain and develop service levels in order to enhance continuous development. Unloading and staging of goods in. Loading of goods out. Maintenance of excellent housekeeping standards and compliance with all health and safety requirements.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Load/unload vehicles, including accurate completion of paperwork

2. To assist as required with the receipt, checking and dispatch of all goods which pass through the warehouse or are handled by the Company

3. Sortation of orders, ensuring accuracy of paperwork

4. General warehouse duties.

5. Housekeeping of warehouse and yard

6. Matching deliveries with dockets

7. Scanning and recording of freight

8. Completion of tasks as set by Operations Manager

9. Immediate reporting of any damages to management team

10. Palletising and wrapping of goods

11. Ensure daily forklift truck checks are completed and appropriate documentation completed

12. Completion of all other equipment checks

13. Manual Handling

14. Observe Health and Safety regulations at all times

**Key Experience & Other Requirements**:
1. Proven experience of driving Fork Lift Truck and use of other MHE - A counter balance forklift operator’s license is essential

2. Basic knowledge of computerized inventory systems, warehouse functions and MS Office (Excel)

3. Excellent attention to detail

4. Relevant experience within a warehouse environment

5. Knowledge of health and safety rules

6. Self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

7. Fluent spoken and written English

8. Knowledge/Familiarity of delivery documentation/paperwork

9. Physically fit and able

**Additional Requirements**:
1. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post-holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Company from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training

2. To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme

3. To work in accordance with all company policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental
