**What is our Oakthorpe Dairy like?**

Our Oakthorpe Dairy in Palmers Green is part of our Southern milk supply campus, producing branded and own label fresh milk and cream. At Oakthorpe we employ over 200 colleagues and are currently investing over 10m Euros in upgrading the site in order to improve process capability and make the site more environmentally friendly. With more investment planned over the next 5 years there has never been a better time to join the team

**What will the role involve?**

Looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing company? We are currently seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEHS) team as a key member. As a QEHS Specialist, you will report directly to the QEHS Manager and play a vital role in driving the site's quality agenda, implementing new processes, and influencing positive change.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the site and UK business plans, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Conduct GAP analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop effective strategies.
- Lead QEHS improvement projects, utilizing continuous improvement and Lean techniques.
- Foster a quality culture on site, promoting adherence to standards, policies, and customer requirements.
- Maintain, monitor, and report on all quality data for the site, ensuring effective communication with the wider team.
- Ensure compliance with Arla Foods' standards, policies, and relevant legislation.
- Uphold certificated standards on site.

**Requirements**:
To thrive in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong technical leadership abilities with a proven track record in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, capable of establishing genuine and productive connections.
- Ideally, a degree in a food-related discipline.
- Demonstrated professional integrity and a passion for excellence.
- Proficiency in IT skills.
