**About Support Cambridgeshire**
The Support Cambridgeshire partnership brings together CCVS (Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service) and Hunts Forum to help communities thrive. They work together to support local groups and people in various ways, such as providing advice, training, and resources. The Support Cambridgeshire brand started with a Countywide contract to offer countywide free services across Cambridgeshire. Over the years, that has evolved into more, and it now stands for free online services. Several countywide contracts are also delivered across both organisations. Both staff teams work very closely together and there is an expectation that Support Fenland will be no different. By teaming up, they make sure everyone's voice is heard and that community projects get the help they need. CCVS and Hunts Forum join forces to make a positive difference and strengthen connections in the Cambridgeshire area.
**About Hunts Forum**
Hunts Forum is an umbrella charity set up in the 1970s to support other local 'charitable' organisations by providing them with the tools they need to set up and grow. We provide training, one-to-one support and advice to help other community and voluntary groups develop in Huntingdonshire and the surrounding area. Hunts Forum manages the Maple Centre, located in Oxmoor, Huntingdon. This voluntary sector hub offers space to local voluntary and community groups to rent offices or run training sessions, meetings or events. The work we carry out falls under these headings:
**Representation**
We act as a voice for voluntary groups in our area, contributing to central committees and partnerships that determine public policy and action in Huntingdonshire, Fenland and the County.
**Networks**
We bring groups together to provide support for themed and geographical networks. In addition, we provide regular bulletins and access to consultations.
**Organisation development**
We provide training and one-to-one development sessions to enable community and voluntary groups to become stronger and more sustainable.
**About CCVS**
CCVS is an independent registered charity set up by local organisations in the 1970s to provide a central source of expert help and advice for local groups. Our purpose is to support charitable organisations by providing them with the tools they need to keep going. We provide training, one-to-one consultancy and advice to help community and voluntary groups set up, develop and grow in Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire and Fenland.
