South Bristol Rehabilitation units are located within South Bristol Community Hospital and has built up a reputation for delivering excellent patient centred care and enthusiastic teamwork.

As a healthcare assistant you will assist with the direct care of patients delegated to and supervised by a registered nurse.

Your role will provide support to the nursing team, collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care centred around the core principles of recovery and stroke rehabilitation and the patients wishes.

The service supports patients to recover and regain their independence following admission to an acute hospital and the team consists of registered nurses, therapists, advanced clinical practitioners, General Practitioners and a range on unregistered support workers.

This role will require you to provide personal care to service users e.g. washing and dressing, monitor and record clinical observations, support patients to eat and drink and assisting patients to move around.
