Our fabulous 55 bed care home needs warm, supportive, professional staff to join us to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

To keep our friendly home a happy and bright place to be, we are seeking an activities coordinator with experience of working in a care home to join our team for 40 hours per week.

Applicants must already be based in the UK.

Your role will include devising and implementing meaningful occupational therapies, organising outings when appropriate, as well as events in the home. We need a programme of activities and events aimed at promoting independence and social engagement, and making certain all our residents have tailored involvement to suit their needs. Activities may include reminiscence therapy, regular liaison with residents to take account of their ideas and requests, and contacting providers for music sessions, pet therapy, crafts, puzzles and lots more. Excellent communication skills are required and the ability to work well as part of a dedicated team. Always giving support to our residents and maintaining their dignity and privacy, the whole team strive to provide a happy, stimulating and stable environment.
