**Job Introduction**

The Software Test Manager is crucial to the continued successful growth of CareMatch, ensuring that we continue to provide an excellent quality platform for our users.

**Main Responsibilities**

As the Software Test Manager you will:

- Formulate / review software test strategies / methodologies
- Manage software testing resources (internal and external)
- Review the product roadmap, designs, improvements, changes and provide input
- Prepare and execute test plans in line with the release schedule
- Identify and implement automated software testing where appropriate
- Analyse test results and identify areas of the platform which may require architectural review or code review
- Prepare and present regular test reports
- Coordinate with other members of the software development team(s) both internal and external

You will:

- Have at least 5 years experience of software testing using unit testing, functional testing, system testing approaches as appropriate
- Be experienced in the process of integrating software testing in an Agile development environment
- Have experience of managing a team as we intend to scale the team to cope with rapid development and deployment
- Understand the full software development cycle
- Be a great communicator
- Ideally have experience with automated software testing
- Ideally be familiar with the Microsoft Development Environment including Microsoft Azure DevOps

**The Person**

You will be customer-focused, with your role as a test manager aimed at ensuring that our users always experience a quality product.

You will be able to adapt to change, willing to question the current processes and structure and proactively suggest improvements.

**Location**

The role is based in our current Head Office in Salisbury, Wiltshire. However, the CareMatch teams operate on a hybrid working basis and we may look to relocate as the company grows, most likely remaining in the South of England.

Ideally you will have dealt with development in a Microsoft environment and have used Azure DevOps. There is an opportunity for hybrid working, but as we are a very sociable bunch, we do encourage regular visits to the head office which is based in the SouthWest.
