The family run business has continued to grow from strength to strength since its formation in 1992.

We currently have a vacancy for a Purchasing Assistant to support our busy Purchasing Department.

Basic duties of the role will include:

- Raising purchase orders.
- Ensure supplier invoices match with purchase order.
- Chase overdue orders with suppliers.
- Ensure PO information is up to date on the system.
- Support the buyers in researching new products and suppliers.
- Support the buyers in maintaining records of supplier contracts.
- Provide support as appropriate.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Rules and Procedures at all times.

Essential skills and experience required:

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Open to learning new processes.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible to support other members of the team.
- Data entry skills.

No previous experience required.
