**Senior HR Analytics Power BI Specialist**

**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Aberdeen, with regular travel to Perth.

**Salary**: £44,100 - £66,100 + Performance-Related Bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Are you passionate about developing and delivering industry leading Management Information (MI) through data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI and OBIEE? Join SSE on our digital journey where you’ll play an important role in the future of reporting, developing analytical capability across the team, moving the function forward with predictive analysis and identifying key trends in people data.

As Senior HR Analytics Power BI Specialist, you will:

- Design and build Power BI solutions for HR reporting.
- Develop Oracle BI reporting and the launch of self-service reporting for HR Ops teams.
- Translate large scale HR data from a variety of sources into meaningful outputs.
- Develop analytical and Power BI capability within the existing team.
- Undertake complex data modelling and analysis to support decision making.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to be:

- Advanced skills in Power BI and Azure cloud platform technologies, with sound commercial experience, and proficient in writing in associated languages e.g. SQL, DAX, and M.
- Proficient in developing production-ready reports and dashboards, to deploy to corporate customers and develop user manuals and bespoke training.
- Experienced in ingesting data from a variety of disparate data sources, ideally with a good understanding of Oracle BI and HR data, but not essential.
- Adept at identifying training needs and demonstrable experience of developing analytical capability in others.
- Strong in data analysis and modelling, able to develop calculations which are accurate and performant on large datasets and deliver meaningful outputs for stakeholders.
