**Summary**: We are looking for an
**Admin Assistant** to join an energy consultancy. As the Admin Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team, directly reporting to the Office Manager. In this role, you will
**maintain and update large databases**, write and
**process energy contracts**, liaise with energy suppliers, and support the sales staff in
**preparing quotes** for clients. To be successful in this role you will need previous energy industry experience, preferably in brokerage,
**strong excel skills**, the ability to
**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update a large company database
- Write and process energy contracts
- Manage a series of data reports
- Liaise with energy suppliers
- Support sales staff with preparing quotes
- Send tender requests to suppliers and aggregators
- Proactively identifying tasks and taking the lead on addressing issues
- Quickly resolving conflicts and coming up with solutions to everyday challenges.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Energy Industry experience, preferably from a brokerage is essential.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM, DocuSign, Photoshop)
- Ability to manage a workload shared amongst a team of 3 administrators.
- Clear written and verbal communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Building good relationships with colleagues and understanding the needs of others.
- Ability to assess situations, interpret data, and make sense of numbers or trends.
- Willingness to update knowledge and skills regularly to stay current in the field.
- Working well within a group, understanding team dynamics, and contributing positively.
