**Sales Manager**

Our client is looking for a results-driven, experienced, and collaborative technical sales leader to execute and enhance all parts of the sales process.

A key aspect will be prospecting and closing strategic accounts whilst collaborating with the technical team to support their technical product demonstrations and industrial trials. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the freedomto propose and implement new processes and sales playbooks from the ground up.

**Responsibilities**
- Close deals quickly and consistently to achieve sales targets.
- Qualify and prioritise deals to maximise efficiency of sales operations.
- Expand and execute strategies for key deals that maximise win probability and deal velocity.
- Work closely with the technical team to support successful product demonstrations and industrial trials.
- Develop, refine and implement prospecting approaches, including creative follow-up.
- Support the continuous improvement of the sales processes with ideas and leadership.
- Supply wider team with reports on customer needs, problems, and opportunities to support marketing and new product development.
- Continuously help improve yourself and wider teams through constant feedback.

**Requirements**:

- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Comfortable selling/working with a technical product and technical buyers.
- Comfortable selling software and software subscriptions to industry and academia.
- Desire to progress into a leader of our sales team as the company continues to grow.

**Helpful but not Essential**
- Experience in selling or working with materials science, mechanical testing, inspection and/or engineering products is an advantage.
