Our client, a growing, successful and innovative company committed to lowering carbon emissions are seeking a HR Assistant.

Part time 20 hours a week 3-4 days a week, based in Marlow with hybrid working option. Salary £12,800

You will provide day to day HR administration activities, providing HR operational support to the business as well as assisting with the processes surrounding the company’s HR policies and procedures, ensuring processes remain in line with legislative requirementsand best practice with the support of the HR Consultant.

**Duties**:

- To administer starter / leaver processes including all documentation, onboarding processes and exit interviews.
- To prepare all offer letters and contracts of employment for new starters for review by the HR Consultant
- To prepare all letters regarding changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. change of hours, change of job role, promotion.
- To handle all initial contact into the HR department, signposting onwards as appropriate either to the line manager or HR Consultant.
- Placing job adverts on job boards such as Indeed or LinkedIn
- Placing vacancies with recruitment agencies
- Manage and keep up to date the recruitment tracker on the HR folder in Teams
- Take up employment references for new starters and complete reference requests for leavers as required
- Ensure that all new starters have complied with Right to Work requirements on first day of employment
- Conduct a smooth onboarding process for the new employee.
- Run reports as required, both regular monthly requirements and ad hoc
- Keeping all HRIS data up to date, including adding new starters, leavers, updating job titles and adding job descriptions into the files
- Completing notifications of employee new starters, leavers and changes for relevant departments, eg payroll.
- Monitor attendance and absence levels & signpost issues to managers
- Coordinate the quarterly review and annual appraisal process
- Monitor probation periods and administer the appropriate documentation
- To respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures.

- Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft packages i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel
- A minimum of grade A to C in maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- Full driving licence
