We are looking to appoint 2 Mental Health Practitioners/Senior EMHP/CYWP into Cheshire's MHST.

These two vacancies are linked to the development of Wave 11 MHST which will focus support on Sixth Form and College settings across Cheshire. One post will be based in west Cheshire, the other in East. Travel is an essential part of the role and main bases will be agreed at appointment.

You will be a CAMHS professional, EMHP/CYWP, registered with a professional body or have equivalent qualifications and accreditation and have experience of working in a Child and Young person Mental Health Setting.

The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners, with the aim of improving the mental health and well being of children and young people in the community. There is a specific focus on developing more access to helping and improving emotional support within all primary, secondary schools and colleges. Working alongside community partners the Mental Health Support Teams will be part of CYP Access function.

The Mental Health Practitioner/ Senior EMHP/CYWP role for MHST will be to support the delivery of all interventions provided by Education Mental Health Practitioners and ensuring that a wide range of evidence based interventions are used to support young people’s mental health. You will hold a case load, support leadership and will be involved in the development of the MHST alongside the Clinical Lead and Clinical Coordinator, supervising practitioners and other senior colleagues in the service and within the borough.

Promote positive Mental Well-Being as well as Positive Mental Health. Contribute to the CAMHS multi professional team assessing, delivering and evaluating the mental health needs of the young people accepted by the service.
