Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging role as a Band 6 CYPMHS Mental Health Practitioner? If yes, then we want to hear from you

We are looking for applicants that have experience in evidence based therapeutic interventions, with a willingness to complete further training and development.

The Community CYPMHS Team consists of experienced clinicians from a variety of professional disciplines with experience of providing therapeutic input, managing risk/ complexity and multi-agency working.

We offer a range of services, such as assessment, therapy, family work, group work, consultation and training.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- A recognised qualification in a relevant discipline, such as psychology, counselling, psychotherapy, nursing, social work.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
- A commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning

**You will have**:
- A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community based mental health services to children, young people, and their families
- Experience in undertaking mental health assessments and providing interventions & formulations to address the needs of the client group
- Experience of working with children and young people who, due to their mental and emotional health needs, present with a level of clinical risk
- Experience of working under pressure and in a demanding, fast paced environment
- To have the skill to adapt and the flexibility to think on your feet due to the nature of your role
- Access to transport or have the ability to travel to a variety of venues as part of the working day
