Root Cause Analyst
This role is perfect for someone to who looking to develop their career further by investigating the root cause, ensuring that customer detriment is found, change is implemented, and the affected customer is remediated. This role is so rewarding as you willget involved in complex situations, seeking the best outcome for the customer as well as the business.
This is a varied and interactive role where no two days are the same.
You will be joining a supportive team of advisors and are guided, trained, and developed by a dedicated team leader.
What you’ll be doing
- Embrace change, influence the business to do what’s right for our customers, working towards “getting it right” first time
- Root cause analysis of complaints
- Manage and develop sustainable solutions
- Develop reports in a simple, friendly, and direct manner
- Explain the information found in the analysis of the data to other groups, including executive teams
- Develop solutions for problems found in our internal systems or processes, including documentation
- Train and coach individuals and the team
- Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to our risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the company group risk framework

- A clear understanding of the FCA requirements to drive good customer outcomes forward
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to manage complex priorities at pace and multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities
- Innovative thinker and the ability to bring new ideas to the table
- A good understanding of the car finance sector is desirable, along with an understanding of all the systems and processes
- Relevant Project management e.g. PRINCE 2 is desirable
- Analytics is desirable

Other things you need to know
The salary range for this role is £28,300 per annum plus quarterly bonus.
The department operates between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday so you will be required to work these hours with a 1-hour unpaid break each day. However, flexibility will be required on occasions which may include early starts and or late finishesand some weekends to support business requirements.
During the first 6 months in this role, you will be office based in our Redhill office so we can train, support and integrate you into the team and our ways of working.
We are adopting a hybrid way of working following your first 6 months of employment in the office. So, you will be coming into the office 2-3 days a week with the remainder working days remotely at home.
