An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Apprentice to join our National Deaf CAMHS (NDCAMHS) Service.

We welcome applicants from the deaf community. Deaf staff throughout NDCAMHS have use of Access to Work, (AtW), a BSL Interpreter and a uniphone which enables them to communicate with the team, patients, management and to assist in team meetings/supervisions etc. We can also provide listening aid equipment to help in the office, equipment such as amplified telephone or a Roger mic, or a headset that could connect directly to hearing aids.

CAMHS offer mental health services to children and young people aged 0 - 18 years old. NDCAMHS offer specialist assessment and intervention to Deaf children with mental health concerns. The team offers direct work as well as advice and consultation to a wide range of families and professionals across the South West.

The L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship is an 18-month programme, delivered by Bridgwater and Taunton College via a blended approach with monthly face to face classes at one of the campus’ along with online sessions with the college trainer/assessor.

The role of the post holder is to provide general administrative support to the NDCAMHS Team.

**This will include responsibility for**:

- Filing
- Answering the phone
- Maintaining systems and databases
- Creating and maintaining documents
- Arranging appointments for young people and families
- Dealing with enquiries from Managers, Staff and Service users

Ensuring compliance with Data Protection & Confidentiality at all times.
