Sales Field Support Specialist

**Job Function**:
You will liaise with internal teams and customers to support the Company’s sales team activities, exhibitions events and demonstrations when requested. Acting as a point of contact for the Sales team within the depot, you will utilise the technology available to support the movement of equipment, deliveries and PDIs.
**Essential Duties**:
**1. ** Act as a point of contact with the department for the Sales team and maintain a strong relationship with internal departments and customers.
2. Responsible for the movement of sales stock within the depot and the equipment within the yard(s) and supports with the logistics of equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
3. Completes all reports and utilises internal and external company systems (CRM, Movement App, Used Equipment App, JD Link) to ensure all work assignments and administration are completed accurately and on time.
5. Performs pre-delivery set-up on new or used equipment.
6. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
7. Attends manufacturer updates, training courses, and certification programs when required to develop skills and knowledge.
8. Is aware of our technology offerings and its capabilities and actively promotes this to all potential customers.
9. To demonstrate and install agricultural machinery to the required audience.
10. Can advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines.
11. Supports other departments, such as Service, during busy periods.
12. Understand the manufacturer's customer care process.
13. Compliance with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure the safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.
14. Acts in a professional manner and actively promotes Ripon Farm Services and John Deere with positivity and integrity.
15. Maintains personal awareness of the company’s quality procedures and is presentable at all times.

**Skills & Qualifications**:
**- ** Ability to build and promote strong customer relationships.
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- Ability to interpret and implement technical instructions.
- Good written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- 3+ years’ experience within the agricultural industry and machinery operation.
- Ability to use Microsoft-based products and internal and external software systems.
- Be well versed with current agricultural practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Flexible approach to completing the assigned tasks.
- Vehicle driving licence essential.
