- A home-based Trade Marketing role with a leading, branded manufacturer
- Work with top UK retailers to maximise the in-store WOW factor for your brands
- Great mixture of events, customer visits, head office involvement and home working

Working with European and UK colleagues, the job holder will be tasked with making the company’s brands **STAND OUT** within retail stores. This is all about product packaging, positioning and point of sale material -you will be creating **in-store theatre** not just display stands

In additional you will be deeply involved in high profile events (such as Chelsea Flower Show) to excite target audiences with present and new product concepts.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Management and creation of all external events (consumer, trade, press and retail)
- Constantly drive improvement in Point of Sales material
- Management of merchandiser and retailer training programme
- Lead communication of new product launches and sales support materials
- Conceive and drive promotions
- Create internal and external buzz around new products and events
- Analyse trading numbers to understand brand performance and competitor threats
- Manage substantial trade marketing budget

**Key Skills/Experience Required**:
In order to have the skills and confidence to maximise the potential of this role we are looking for a marketing professional with a marketing qualification who is presently working within the marketing team of a consumer goods business or a major UK retailer.

Specifically our new recruit needs to be able to bring:

- An understanding of UK retail sales and marketing
- Experience of products packaging and point of sale material
- Working collaboratively with sales teams to grow top-line performance
- Management of budgets
- High level of IT literacy
- A creative - out of the box thinker
- Great team player
- Able to travel throughout the UK as required
