Here at GXO, we are looking for a **Fleet Administrator** to join our Transport team in **Northampton**. As Fleet Administrator you will be responsible for the site based fleet, including all delivery vehicles, units, shunt vehicles and trailers.

This is a permanent, full-time role, where you’ll be predominately working **Monday - Friday**,, 45hours per week, office hours. However, occasionally we may need some flexibilitythis is Logistics after all.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of **£27,000 - £30,000** per annum depends on experience. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Ensure that all fleet activities are undertaken in-line with Group Health and Safety Policy and within the requirements of the Fleet Audit process
- Ensure that valid road fund licence via online and vehicle o licence are displayed in accordance with legal requirement
- Maintain and monitor all associated fleet and defect management systems, escalating non-compliance immediately for investigation
- Coordinate with transport teams to ensure that the appropriate number and type of vehicles are in place when required
- Work with the site-based transport management teams to ensure maximum fleet availability, including contingency vehicles, ensuring that long term defects are managed effectively and service/MOT’s are pre-booked by the local teams to accommodate operational requirements.

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Proven track record working within a busy transport office or fleet administration role
- Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Excel & Outlook and bespoke fleet management software
- Highly flexible, reliable, with good attendance and time keeping
