Your naturally curious nature and the desire to put people and the company first will ensure you think ahead, anticipating and predicting to get the right solutions for our colleagues and the business.

Your role will be supporting and coaching line managers and Business Involvement Group (BIG) Representatives by providing high level advice and guidance to ensure all risk to the business is understood and mitigated with regards to people management, policy and decision making.

You'll be offering dedicated long-term absence support to line managers while promoting a positive Employee Relations environment, developing and coaching them with legal compliance and consistent best processes. You will also connect with and keep HR Business Partners fully updated on your regionally assigned cases.

**Working pattern**

We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office with an anchor day on a Wednesday each week, and 2 days working from home.

**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- Support & coach our Line Managers & BIG rep’s with people policy advice over the telephone
- Provide guidance on brilliant outcome letters and other written communication.
- Have knowledge of our people polices and how they are applied
- Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to enable your to constructively advise on options and risks
- Support our managers with long term absence across a business area

Your skills and experience will include
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent excel skills to enable you to provide insight into regional people data and trends
- Strong influencing skills
- Have the ability to support writing brilliant letters and easily build a connection with colleagues over the telephone
