The International Media Coordinator is responsible for departmental support and coordination to service the PGA TOUR’s 45+ international media partnerships globally. Primary responsibilities include partnership rights management and operational support in EMEA, and supporting the TOUR’s international offices (based in London, Tokyo, and Beijing) with on
- going projects. This position provides cross-functional support across Client Services, Content, Sponsor Relations, and International Marketing to deliver on media partner needs and internal initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Communications, and/or related area of study.
- Up to 2 years of experience in sports partnerships, international media, production and/or related field.
- Advanced level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and multitasking skills, detail oriented
- Second language & international experience (either living or working) is preferred.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Integrity befitting PGA TOUR’s high standards.
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with dashboards (Quicksight, Tableau, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
- Experience managing media partners would be ideal
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Develop and maintain a complete understanding of all existing partnerships and work with London-based account manager to establish partnership goals, identify success metrics, and provide regular reporting.
- Support four global account managers as requested to support partner needs, our strategic alliance with the DP World Tour, and further enhance our client service efforts around the world.
- Maintain and support departmental resources associated with contracts, rights, and client contact details.
- Gather relevant broadcast and digital data from international media partners to create weekly reports, including airtimes and distribution.
- Work with other Coordinators to oversee the department’s rights management system as a means for housing contractual language, rights, and obligations from each Int’l Media agreement across the globe.
- Responsible for tracking broadcaster distribution of PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and Korn Ferry events in each market, ensuring broadcaster obligations are fulfilled and optimum coverage is maintained.
- Maintain all broadcaster rights summaries to ensure LIVE and Ancillary Programming is properly delivered based on each broadcaster’s licensed rights.
- Coordinate with the Sponsor Relations team to ensure sponsor commitments are fulfilled via international broadcast partners.
- Liaise with Marketing to support international initiatives and broadcaster marketing efforts.
- Communicate key TOUR updates to broadcast partners, including press releases, new sponsors and changes to our schedule.
- Support Client Service Managers in reporting requirements related to partnership management, marquee events and international winners.
- Provide reporting and analytical support as required to the Research & Data Analytics team.
- Special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate and lead broadcaster elevation efforts with the support of the Client Service Managers around marquee events.
- Support Senior Client Services Manager in managing EMEA broadcast partners.
- Support the Sr. Director, International Media and other International Media leadership as directed.
