An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School Age Immunisation Service (SAIS) for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is looking for a new challenge to support the delivery of School Age vaccination programmes to Lincolnshire school aged children.

As well as providing administrative support to the service, you will be trained to deliver the nasal flu vaccination, under the direct supervision of an Immunisation Nurse, to the school age population of Lincolnshire

Update and maintain a clinical health record by recording consents for vaccination programmes.

Run reports from clinical systems to provide cohort data for vaccination sessions

Co-ordinate & maintain communication with team members about routine and daily activities including rota’s, contacting clinical staff, updating systems.

Support the SAIS and wider team in health promotion sessions / groups as required including the ordering, display and distribution of health promotion material.

To assist in ordering, receiving, storing and transporting vaccines in accordance with Management Medicines Policy

Liaise with schools and parents to arrange vaccination sessions/appointments.
