Freight and Customs Admin Apprentice

**Tasks**:

- Booking International Freight shipments Courier/Road, Sea and Air
- Managing Shipments and liaising with Customers and Suppliers
- Organising Special documentation and customs paperwork
- Keeping databases and Customs Relationship Management Systems up to date, ensuring data is entered correctly
- Providing support to other Team Members when required
- Answering the telephone, taking messages, and dealing with basic queries from customers and suppliers.
- Attending training sessions in order to develop knowledge of freight and customs

**Learning**:

- Training will be provided on the job

**Requirements**:

- Will need to show that they can work as part of a Team

**Experience and knowledge**
- No experience required as this is an apprenticeship role.

**Qualifications**

Excellent Maths Skills GCSE C (Equivalent) or above

Excellent IT Skills including very good knowledge and Experience of using Excel

English GCSE C or above or equivalent

At Least another two GCSE qualification Equivalent of C or above.

**Apprenticeship**

At the end of a successful Apprenticeship (15 months) - you will become a full time International Freight Forwarding Administrator and your salary will be increased to reflect this role. The Company has employed 4 apprentices over the last 2 years all are now successfully working in various roles within the Company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £7.50 per hour
