We’re looking for a dynamic **Procurement Assistant** to join our team in Wolverhampton.
This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own
As well as delivering an exceptional standard of service to internal customers, you’ll be responsible ensuring stock levels are maintained effectively and raising stock replenishment orders.
Ideally you will have some background in manufacturing, MRO PPE or a trade counter environment, however full training will be provided so don’t let this stop you from applying

**The Role**

We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.
As a key member of our procurement team, you'll be responsible for communicating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and supporting inventory management efforts for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials.
Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders will be essential in optimising our processes and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of Category related products.
- Assist in creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
- Research potential suppliers, evaluate product options, and identify cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements and prioritise purchases.
**Role Requirements**:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and procurement best practices is a plus.
