**What you’ll be doing**
- We are looking for a high calibre, passionate, caring individuals who are excellent team players and are committed to providing high quality, trauma informed services for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.- As a Domestic Abuse Support Worker (Complex Health Needs) within SafeNet Preston Refuge team, your role will provide proactive practical and emotional support to victims and surviviors of domestic abuse who present with a higher level of complex health and social needs.- The role will provide support that is trauma informed and focused on both practical and emotional support to residents who require support due to complex needs (such as Drug & Alcohol addiction, current or historical offending behaviour, high level mental health and self harm).- You can find more details on the role and key deliverables in the Role Profile.**What you will get in return**

- Clear knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and experience of supporting people with complex health and social needs, both emotionally and practically to achieve positive outcomes.
- A clear understanding of the criminal justice system and probation services in relation to offending behaviour.
- Experience of developing and delivering trauma informed group work relating to recovery.
- Proven experience of providing direct emotional, practical and welfare support to women, men and children.
- Understanding of Harm Reduction and delivering support plans pertaining to this.
- To have excellent time management and organisational skills working on own initiative and within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
