Our client is looking for an experienced Project Officer (Housing Services).

Hybrid (2 days in the office)

Duration of assignment: 6 months

Working hours: Full time 37 hours

To work independently but under the direction of the Housing Services Manager to develop and deliver a review of the Independent Living (including the redesignation of stock project) and Lifeline services within the Council, based around a recently received consultancy report.
Experience of working in social housing or a related field
Experience of working in an Independent Living or Lifeline Service
Understanding of the current housing issues and the local and national political and social framework within which local authority housing services operate.
Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing or equivalent qualification.
Previous project management experience within the social housing or related sector.
Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff and other organisations, both verbally and in writing.
Strong IT skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising own workload and meeting deadlines.
Ability to investigate issues and develop recommendations for action.
Ability to produce written reports in a timely & accurate way
Ability to deal with pressurised situations in a controlled and effective manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance having regard to Data Protection legislation.
Full current driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes.
