We are looking for a talented, motivated and organised person to join the Oxford Health communications team as its new communications assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and hard-working NHS communications team and make a real difference to the work of the team and colleagues across the Trust.

We are looking for someone who can help keep the communications function running smoothly by ensuring key administration tasks are completed regularly and on time, while bringing new ideas to contribute to the success of the team. The team predominantly works remotely, but travel to Trust sites and our office-base at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford will be required.
- Contributing to the communication team’s output on the Trust website, social media and internal communication channels.
- Managing the Trust’s leaflet design and production and assisting in increasing the use of digital over print.
- To be the first point of contact for online, electronic and telephone enquiries into the communications team, dealing with enquiries in a timely and effective manner and maintaining a log of incoming enquiries.
- To respond to enquiries using a high level of initiative.

Oxford Health’s communications team works throughout the year to support the work of a diverse range of services and around 6,500 colleagues delivering physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.

We are responsible for managing the Trust’s public facing communication locally and nationally as well as communicating directly with our workforce and stakeholders.

We predominantly work remotely, but have an office base at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford and regularly travel to other sites for events and meetings.
