A unique opportunity for Category Buyer to work with multi
- national brands based in Milton Keynes
My is a client well established, B2B international company with their EMEA Head Quarters in UK
They are now seeking a Category Buyer to proactively build, develop and manage the product range producing a best in class offering for the industry.

**Responsibilities**:
*Compile, analyse and interpret data to; assist with margin management, provide a
commercially viable, appealing range of merchandise (and other products) at
competitive prices
*Build manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to include negotiation and
performance reviews to ensure excellent quality of service and adherence of the
KPIs.
*Work with Client Service, International and Sales teams to build compelling
propositions and assist with all client requests for product proposals and pricing.
*Input into technical development of products and systems.
*Maintain a working knowledge of external factors such as legislation, trademarks and
taxation and implement any changes, amendments as required.
*Source new suppliers to improve product range
*Actively seek pertinent information regarding competitor products, pricing and
marketing strategies and tactics wherever possible.
*Support profitability and redemption targets as set by the company.
Person Specification:
*Minimum of 3 years' experience in online retail, buying, B2B or catalogue/range
management role
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Ability to influence and strong negotiation skills
*Able to build effective working relationships and rapport with colleagues and
suppliers
*Experience of international product propositions
*Experience in a database environment desirable
*Strong PC skills including Access, Word and Excel
*Good analytical skills, highly organised, and strong attention to detail
*Troubleshooting and decision-making skills
*Ability to work in high-pressure environment and multi-tasking
