We are looking for a Cyber Security Advisor to help improve the Department for Transport's cyber security maturity.

You don't have to be an expert in cyber security, but you must have a passion to develop and grow your skills.

**Job description**:
In this role your duties will include:

- Supporting the requirements to deliver GovAssure. (Prior knowledge of GovAssure isn’t necessary as you will receive training on this).
- Development and review of cyber security policy, translating technical requirements into clear and concise requirements.
- Developing an education and training programme to build awareness of cyber security across the department.

**Person specification**:
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and will be capable of presenting technical requirements and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders with confidence and clarity.

**Additional Information**

A minimum of 40% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace, although requirements to attend other locations for official business, or carry out detached duty in another DfT workplace, will also count towards this level of attendance.

Interviews are due to take place from **Monday 4th December.**

This interview could be conducted via a video interview, details of which will be provided to you should you be selected for interview.
